Paintings, etc.

Since 1996, I have done paintings that fall into four distinct categories: figure/ground reversals, Rorschach-style images, manipulations of well known corporate logos and packages, and “mixed symmetries.” They are related in spirit as much as they are divided by appearance. Words are the consistent subject matter, and ambiguity, symmetry and illusion are always present, sometimes obviously, sometimes not so much.

All paintings shown are available for sale. Very high quality, faithful reproduction prints, both archival, and non-archival of all paintings are available in a variety of sizes, at reasonable prices. Please email John Langdon for prices and further information.
